The US recession and the deepening problems of unemployment, healthcare, infrastructure so on have invited a time for national introspection, the only focus that remains is fixing up of our ailing homes. But with globalization this has become even more difficult. The US President, Obama’s heavy load is marveled even by the most veteran and experienced foreign policy makers. Beyond this melt down of the global economy there are the wars, the continuing fight against terrorism and also the specter of nuclear powers. It is noted that in this crisis situation America would be one of the most influential actors in the global arena.
