The most high profile energy secretary the country has seen till now can be easily argued as Steven Chu. He received the Nobel Prize in physics in 1997. All the above does not make it easy for him to do the enormous goal oriented task on energy put down by the president. He is been appointed the top official at the Department if Energy. H’e has now taken over an agency that is into spending it budget on weapons protection and cleanup and has been now asked to play important part in the transformation of the country’s energy supply that needs a new method.
